Visitors to New Cumberland

Filed under: Uncategorized — ncotablog @ 3:51 pm

We have had sooooo many cool visitors to New Cumberland this summer.   Today there were people shopping  in town from Scranton, PA., Florida and Princeton, New Jersey.  The reasons were different for each shopper.  The family from Florida were in town to attend a wedding. The Scranton shoppers actually drove down to get an item from a local shop and the NJ family is planning to move here in October.   We are very lucky to have such quality shops and restaurants in downtown New Cumberland.    If you have not checked out the downtown, you need to do so.  Visitors always comment on the really unusual and unique gifts, clothing and food available in the shops.  Any just think….Its all just downtown.

Filed under: Uncategorized — ncotablog @ 10:41 am

Don't I look beautiful?

Our dog Maggy is a little beagle.  She spent Thursday morning at Tegs Dog Grooming at 335 Bridge Street in New Cumberland.  It is so easy for us to take her down there and get her all dolled up.  Tegs staff is so great and they do a wonderful job.  Named by Harrisburg Magazine several years in a row.  Here is a picture of the little beagle diva all dolled up after her big day.  She was sooooo tired she spent the afternoon sleeping.

The New Cumberland Business and Professional Group met this morning at the NC Fire Dept Social Hall.  Thanks to everyone who showed up to contribute to the conversation about the vision of the business community and its goals.  After a great discussion about improving communication, focusing on business and marketing the community we all enjoyed the donuts and coffee supplied by Tim from Coakley’s.  Coakley’s was our business meeting sponsor for March.  We welcomed two new businesses.   Cumberland Physical Therapy is now open at 503 Bridge Street.  The office will specialize in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, manual therapy and vestibular dysfunction rehabilitation ( I am going to have to look that  up – I was way off on what I thought it to be. It has to do with balance – wow! you learn new something everyday.) Contact the company at www.cumberlandphysicaltherapy.com
